Turkey is the place where many stories were born. Turkey was a crossroad for many civilizations and it’s by far the biggest “open air museum” of the world. First known urban city settlement of “Çatalhöyük” and the historically famous Troy are in today’s Turkey. The Anatolian Greeks also were here. The greatest empires of the world, the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman all lived or passed through Turkey at some point in time.

Troy is a place where legendary Trojan Wars took place. The famous Troy is located in Western Turkey.
Catalhoyuk (Çatalhöyük) in Central Anatolia in Turkey is the oldest known human settlement. It is estimated that it dates from the 7th Millenium B.C. Two of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world are in Turkey: Temple of Artemis at Ephesus and Mausoleum at Halicarnassus.
