Did you know about this? #isreal #antivirus 😮

The first antivirus program was written by Yuval Rechavi, then a fresh graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the name of the program was Unvirus. Yuval’s AV program appeared shortly after the first PC viruses showed: Pakistani boot, Ping-pong, and Jerusalem. Two of the three are believed to origin from Israel, and the latter got its name because it was Yuval and his friends that discovered and analyzed it, at the Jerusalem University. The first AV was definitely developed by an Israeli and the credit is due to Yuval Rechavi.
